For The Times of London, I produced a branded-content piece about Tiffany & Co., and in doing so was able to experience one of my favorite aspects of being a journalist: an up-close look inside the workshops of the famed Fifth Avenue jeweler.
Few people realize that the most high-profile Tiffany & Co. jewels are produced in the floors above the iconic New York City boutique, and have been since it opened in 1940. This look behind the scenes includes an interview with Melvyn Kirtley, chief gemologist for Tiffany & Co.
