Marella Agnelli was one of the world’s most stylish women — married to Fiat chairman Gianni Agnelli, Marella was photographed at high-profile society events around the world, and quite often, she was wearing one necklace in particular, a multi-strand rope of emerald and pearl beads Gianni purchased as a present for her at India’s famed Gem Palace.

Last year Gem Palace partner and creative director Samir Kasliwal discovered more of those same beads used to craft Marella’s necklace back in 1955, so he and sister Shalini Kasliwal decided to create a tribute to Marella with a pair of new pieces.
